Pretty good.Michael Marion Magadlene Morn Edson was found in a White Castle by St. Mary of the Woods School for Wayward boys when he was just a baby. There was no tearful goodbye on a doorstep, or anything like that for Michael. What he discovered there, as he got older, was that he had his very own super power. He was able to suggest things to people. Within reason, and they had to be open to the idea in the first place, but if they were he could look them in the eyes and get them to do what he wanted them
Pretty good.
Now that was much less straightforward and far more thought provoking than Sidekicked. Is there really good and evil, or is it all just in between? Where, and for whom, will you draw the line?
Lots of loose ends and not what you would expect from a super hero book.
A bit slower to read than Sidekicked and it almost felt more YA but I did like it. The more of Dave's books I read, the more I like him. He has a way of combining humor, emotion and excitement into one and is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors.
This "companion to Sidekicked" offers a glimpse from the other side of the conflict between superheroes and supervillains, and their sidekicks and henchmen, depicted in Anderson's previous book. Apparently, it isn't any easier being brought up to a life of villainy than training for the next-generation League of Justice.
