I was expecting a little bit more from this book, i was disappointed. It was a modern twist on the old tale, "The Beast Within". The story that was touching to me was the description of a family dealing with Alzheimer's disease. It seems to common now a day. The heartache over the disease was very well written by the author. Over all a good book.
Reviewed at Keeper BookshelfI love discovering stories with their own twists on the "tale as old as time" theme. The Beast Within offers a unique take on the Beauty and the Beast idea with a couple who might have met under more usual circumstances if fate hadn't stepped in and changed everything. Now they play out part of their romance through the anonymous dating of Blindfold, Inc. where each person meets without being face to face. In many ways this allows a person's true self to show
The Disney treatment of fairy tales has become increasingly popular in the last few years, thanks to live action remakes of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and, of course Beauty and the Beast. They have received huge commercial success, but I do find them a little old fashioned and naïve. I've grow out of the sugary sweetness of the Disney versions, but I do still enjoy the basis plot of these stories that go back hundreds of years. So I was delighted to find a modern treatment of Beauty and the
I received this book as a Goodreads give away. I thought it was a very interesting take on the The Beauty and the Beast. Some of the text was a little over the top but still a enjoyable read.
I was disappointed with this book. It isn't beastly, it is a love story with lots of sex. The sex isn't graphic but it takes up a lot of space in this book. There are a couple of references to a beast but it isn't what the title suggests.I won this book in in a Goodreads giveaway.

I have to say that I loved this book as I was reading through it because it was sooo smooth and sensual, romantic and blissful so yeah. It made me smile to myself as I visualized its two very much in love main characters Daniel Di Domenico and Crystal Belle St. James go about their relationship that unfolded over the course of the story. It is a charming tale and I absolutely loved its slow but enchanting flow because the author Liz Cowans style of writing is steady and smooth it does not boreThe Beast Within by Liz Cowan is book One in the Blindfold, Inc series.
