Write-Up Epithetical Books Reunion (Redemption #5)
Worst book I've read in a while. Awful. It seemed like she let a 4th grader write this book. Did she think about how any of this sounded before she sent it off?! Does she even have an editor?? Weird contradicting details, although small. I noticed a lot of this throughout the series but it was a lot worse in this book--to the point where I struggled to even finish it. It's like all the characters have some fairytale life. Maybe some people like this type of literature but not me.

Love the storyline. Dealing with (view spoiler)[terminal cancer (hide spoiler)] and its effects on the family is not very common in Christian fiction, and it's well done. I do feel there are a bit too many other storylines that the book jumps around between. It felt like the main one was weakened by not having as much space as it could have. But definitely a book I will re-read. And kudos to Kingsbury for not (view spoiler)[tying it all up with a pretty little bow by having her miraculously

This was my second read of this series. The first time through I truly struggled with Reunion due to the subject matter. This time I was prepared for the tears and still struggled a bit, but was able to see through the sad parts to the message of the book. I've also finally learned my lesson: never read a Karen Kingsbury book without a box of tissues handy!

I really enjoyed this series. It is the first set of books I have read by Karen Kingsbury.Getting to know the Baxter family was more entertaining and inspirational than I thought it would be when I had started the first book. I am sure to read more by this Christian author.

Months ago when I learned of Karen's new release, I decided to start at the very beginning and re-read as many Baxter books before her new book releases. I was able to read the entire Redemption series. However I did struggle through the last 8 chapters of Reunion. These chapters reflected a similar situation our family experienced about 4 years ago. Reading these pages brought it all back. In spite of the sadness, I did enjoy this book. As a believer, I treasure how Karen incorporates faith and

I just finished this book. WOW! This series was incredible. The Baxter family goes through so many things in their lives, good, bad & ugly. This final book ties them all together and more. One more family secret....God definitely is with them every step of the way. I cried so hard at the end. Karen Kingsbury ends this last chapter with such great words to remember. They will help me when I feel guilty. I thank her for writing this series. I would highly recommend it.
