Description To Books Il cavaliere inesistente (I nostri antenati #3)
List Books In Pursuance Of Il cavaliere inesistente (I nostri antenati #3)

3.5 stars. Thoroughly enjoyable and funny.Agilulf is the ideal knight, characterized by his deep loyalty, reverence, and chivalry. He serves with Charlemagne's army, roaming through the world, setting things to rights. And yet the truth is that Aguilulf does not exist; Aguilulf is merely a suit of armor with nothing inside. The Nonexistent Knight is the most grownup of the 1001 Children's Books You Must Read that I have read so far. There are thoughtful ideas of what it means to be a person of virtue, as well as clever satire, in this
I don't know if I understood this one well, but I most certainly loved it. It was thrilling and the juxtapositions between the main characters was very interesting. It was funny but in a way also I don't know very well how to say it in english but kind of sad but not too tragic. It made one think. I think it's the kind of novel in which you'll find new layers every time you read it. Still you don't need to be philosopher to love it so don't be afraid to read it even tough you normally don't read

WHOOO I have finished my first book of the year!*review to come*
Yola, a friend of my mother's once told me that I was the "caballero inexistente" no-existent knight.I got the book and I loved the term. Eversince, I try to be this anti-hero.The book is very nice and makes you think.
Our titular hero named Algilulf of the Guildivern, wearing a shiny white armor, he is the best knight Frankish army ever had. He is a skillful warrior, devoted, organized, highly disciplined, and never seem to get tired (and we found out later that he is also a great lover). The only problem is, he does not exist! You heard that right, there's nothing inside that armor.Starting really slow, the pacing of the story take a real fast turn after we read more than half of the books. That is when
When combined with The Cloven Viscountand The Baron in the Trees, Calvino is doing the work of the myth maker, resurrecting the art of the fairy tale, and fully exploring the vagaries and inconsistencies of the human condition. On this New Year's Day, I'm reflecting on these books and it is as unsettling as it is life affirming.
