Interpretation In Pursuance Of Books Märchenmond (Märchenmond #1)

Nach einer Blinddarmoperation ist Kims kleine Schwester nicht mehr aus der Narkose aufgewacht, sie liegt im Koma. Die Stimmung in der Familie ist gedrückt, als Kim an diesem Abend ins Bett geht. Da sieht er in einer Ecke seines Zimmers plötzlich einen alten Mann.

Der Alte erklärt Kim, seine Schwester werde im Land Märchenmond vom bösen Boraas gefangengehalten. Mit einem Raumgleiter aus einem SF-Roman macht sich Kim sofort auf, um seine Schwester zu retten. Doch er hat Pech und landet mitten im Reich von Boraas, auf der besetzten Seite des friedlichen Märchenlandes. Unter großen Gefahren gelingt es Kim, vor Boraas zu fliehen, und in der Verkleidung eines feindlichen schwarzen Ritters gelangt er mit Boraas Armeee über das Schneegebirge nach Märchenmond.

Dort erfährt er, daß er zunächst den König des Regenbogens suchen muß, der noch weit hinter dem Ende der Welt lebt. Zusammen mit seinen neuen Freunden macht sich Kim auf seinen abenteuerlichen Weg.

It started good, then went bad. The kind of bad that made me feel yucky. And then it went worse. piloting jet machine? combating with sword? instant ability? I don't like it... even the lines are all cliches and not really brain-waking. But of course the authors already warn you that this is only a dream. Everything can happen in a dream so it's like safe-plot for them. very disappointing.

Read the English translated version called magic moon. Can't seem to find that edition on here 9the cover is all black, with a large white moon and a small purple coloured boy).Could tell it was translated as some of the language was odd but I did enjoy it, very Philip Reeves.Hopefully I'll find an English version of Magic Moon 2 somewhere!!

Als Kind habe ich diese Serie geliebt. Ich wollte sie wieder mal lesen, obwohl ich mir Sorgen gemacht habe, dass sie mir gar nicht mehr gefallen wird. Das Buch hat mir nicht so gut gefallen wie damals, aber es ist noch immer gute Unterhaltung, und ich mag Gorg, Kelhim, Rangarig, Priwinn und Ado noch immer.
