Column Regarding Books The Goddess Hunt (Goddess Test #1.5)
I wasn't very impressed with this. I read it because I'm generally a huge fan of anything related to Greek Mythology, but this story was stupid. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because it had some potential. *edit* I changed my mind, it doesn't even deserve that.Spoiler alert...So basically the main character, Kate, is Persephone. Only she isn't because Persephone gave up her immortality and is now chilling in the Underworld (I have no intentions of reading further in this series, but

I was looking to see if I NEEDED to read this series, and what better way than to try a novella that is #1.5 in the line up! I found characters that were serious, quirky, genuinely caring, clueless and just plain entertaining!I found a plot, that while a novella told me what I needed to know! Filled with some danger, some humor, some brotherly love and great dialogue, The Goddess Hunt by author Aimee Carter looks to be a lighter paranormal series with some great ideas, characters and just enough

If there's one thing I hate, it's naive characters that make snap decissions and are portrayed as the hero; say hello to Kate.In The Goddess Hunt, she proved that she was woefully immature and here she proves she's learned nothing. Rather than consulting her husband about his past with two twin brothers, she instantly believes the brothers and become BFFs with them... This is not how a normal human being acts and it's so frustrating to read.

Is it just me who thinks this cover is creepy and staring at the girl's face makes you feel weird? o.O

The Goddess Hunt Review on K-BooksWow, Aimee has done it again and blown me away with her amazing storytelling. I absolutely loved The Goddess Test which I read early last year after getting it for review from Netgalley and it still sticks with me as one of the best Greek Mythology retellings. I love the perspective Aimee takes and how you see a nice, loving side to Hades, something I would never have thought of before reading this series. Add that to the fact that I adore mythology,

I loved this short story. I didn't really know anything about the Gemini twins. I loved that Lux had so much love for his brother that he wanted to share his eternity with him, but it was wrong of Walter to trick him like that. It was wrong to separate them for an eternity. I am glad that Kate bought them at least some more time together and that they will not be hunted at least for a while. I loved that Henry took her side and is willing to see that there is more to life than tricking people. I
