I have been keen to read this posthumous collection of stories since my friend Neil nominated it for the Mookse group's best of 2018 poll, and it largely lived up to my high expectations - Johnson has a spare, distinctive narrative voice and his quirky stories are full of insight, humour and surprises.This book consists of 5 stories, all of which are between 20 and 55 pages in length. His narrators have a variety of backgrounds, but all have made mistakes they regret. The strangest is probablyI'm between 3 and 3.5 stars."It doesn't matter. The world keeps turning.
