this was one lovely little book: short but extremely powerful. I absolutely loved the way he thought about his age, managing to present himself not as a dying boy, but as a grown up who's seen and done it all. wonderfulThis is a really simple book, very small very easy, but so full of emotions... the whole experience was a 2 hour roller coaster. its a book that tackles the lowest moments in one's life. i was thinking about some really serious questions before i read the book, and to my surprise it posed really similar questions. its about life and death and hitting rock bottom from the point of view of a ten year old who is not at all 10 years old

This was very entertaining and amusing, yet heart touching and powerful at the same time. Oscar and the lady in pink is a play about a dying little boy and his interactions with his care giver the lady in pink the other sick children in the hospital, and God!The story is so deep to have made me reflect on my life and my thoughts many times. It made me cry in the inside but laugh a lot as well. Strange combination! Plays turn out to be my absolute new passion. There are just incredible. Plays
I always do this; don't read books which are overly popular at some point and end up years later reading and enjoying most of them. No, I don't want to read about dying people, I don't want books to be all mushy and get me crying and I was silly enough to believe that about Oscar et la dame... .
