Discuss Appertaining To Books Pies & Prejudice (The Mother-Daughter Book Club #4)
One of my favorite books in the world!

"It is a truth universally acknowledged..." is the start of one of the most beloved literary classics of all time. It is also one of the main explanations of why Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is still popular and going strong 200 years later (Jan 28th 2013 is the book's birthday to be exact). That is to say that she wrote universal truths to which we can relate even in our day. This is true for a set of girlfriends and their mothers who participate in a book club together and find some

Started off a little slow but the last few chapters were really sweet. My favorite character of the books was always Cassidy. I loved seeing her transform into her new family. Her chapters always made me laugh! I thought the whole series was a cute idea about friendship, mothers and daughters, reading good books, and looking for similarities in literature to real life. Sometimes the books were a little longer than needed but each character was unique and fun.

3. The book pies and prejudice by Heather Vogel Frederick is a fun book that you cant stop reading! The book is about a mother daughter book club and all their adventures. It shows the story from the different perspectives of the girls in the book club. Emma a girl in the book club was surprised when her parents told them they were moving to England for a year. She was sad because she would have to leave her boyfriend and because she wouldnt be able to participate in the mother daughter book

REVIEWHigh school drama! I have been reading this series from the beginning when the girls were just starting middle school. That was then and this is now. The girls start high school and they are in for a whirl-wind of change. Emmas family celebrates her father completing his book by moving to England for the year. If thats not enough, they do a crazy house-swap with a British family. This leaves two British boys, Tristan and Simon, living in Emmas familys home. The boys are dead ringers for

I would totally give this 4.5 stars if I could. The more of these stories I read, the more I fall in love with them!

I often think said she, that there is nothing so bad as parting with one's friends, one seems so forlorn without them. This is a quote from chapter one in the book Pies and Prejudice by Heather Vogel Frederick. It is an important quote because it comes from a book that the characters are reading. Right before the start of Emma's freshman year her family unexpectedly moves to England. All of her friends and book club members are stunned. But thanks to technology, they can all video conference.
