Relation As Books Nobody's Hero (Rescue Me Saga #2)

Librarian's Note: This is an alternate cover for ASIN B006PA7UJS Have you ever fallen in love with the wrong person—or the person who feels he or she is wrong for you? BOOK DESCRIPTION: NOBODY'S HERO is the continuing romantic journey of Adam and Karla, which began in MASTERS AT ARMS & NOBODY'S ANGEL. Retired Marine Master Sergeant Adam Montague has battled through four combat zones, but now finds himself retreating from Karla Paxton, who has declared war on his heart. With a significant age difference, he feels he should be her guardian and protector, not her lover. But Karla's knack for turning up in his bed at inopportune times is killing his resolve to do the right thing. Karla isn't the young girl he rescued nine years earlier—something his body reminds him of every chance it gets. Their age difference is only part of the problem. Fifty-year-old Adam has been a collector of lost and vulnerable souls most of his life, but a secret he has run from for more than three decades has kept him emotionally unable to admit love for anyone. Will Karla be able to break through the defenses around his heart and help him put the ghosts from his past to rest? In her all-out war to get Adam to surrender his heart, will the strong-willed Goth singer offer herself as his submissive and, if so, at what cost to herself? ABOUT THE RESCUE ME SAGA: The books in the ongoing Rescue Me Saga are not stand-alone stories and should be read in order. Characters will recur in later books to deal with further issues in their lives as the saga continues and each book builds upon all previous ones. Sometimes main characters even need another book to help resolve major issues affecting their relationships. BONUS MATERIAL in this version: Kallypso Masters has added the PLAYLIST of music that inspired her as she wrote about the first three couples mentioned in this combined volume, as well as a GLOSSARY OF TERMS and a CAST OF CHARACTERS in these books in the saga. CONTENT WARNING: Intended for mature adult readers not offended by profanity and graphic (but never gratuitous!) sex scenes. Due to the emotional way in which the author presents the subject matter (past and present), the books might cause triggers while reading. Please read the Author's Notes at the beginnings of each book before reading further.

Critique Epithetical Books Nobody's Hero (Rescue Me Saga #2)
OMG I really don't know where to being. First of all this cannot be read as a stand-alone YOU HAVE TO START AT THE BEGINNING WITH MASTERS AT ARMS!!! Ever since reading Adam's intro in that story I could not wait to read this book and it was absolutely amazing! Not only were there some of the hottest BDSM scenes I have ever read, but there were so many emotional moments that left me in tears. When I was not reading this book I was thinking about it and craving it until I had the time to pick it up

I couldn't get into this book. There was too much back story of the cougar attack, not likely, cougars are very solitary and stay away from people, but anyway. This attack is mentioned something like five times by the chapter three with no additional bits of info pertinent to the story revealed. And then, of all things, Adam is in the hospital, laying ON HIS BACK, after this wild animal RIPPED the skin off his back and Karla is laying ON TOP OF HIM?!?! Yeah, he's on painkillers but unless he's

Reread for a goodreads challenge. This book just resonated with me the second time around. If I could give it 10***,I would.Adam and Karla made the perfect couple despite their 25 year age difference. It was a May/Dec romance with elements of BDSM .

I have been waiting for Adam's book since meeting this extraordinary man in Master at Arms. As none of the books in this series should be read as stand alone I am not going to give a review as if it was. Its been 9 years since Adam saved Karla from a pimp at a bus station and she has been in love with him ever since. The title of this book is what Adam has to overcome through out this book - thinking he is Nobody's Hero. There were two main things that always prevented Adam from giving in to his

I have been waiting to get my hands on this book since reading Ms. Masters first book, Masters At Arms. Adam and Karla stole my heart in that one, and I couldn't wait to read their story in Nobody's Hero. Ms. Masters did not disappoint. First, if you've not read the first two books in this series, you must do so before reading this one. There are things in the first two books you need to read to fully understand what's going on between these two characters. I really felt for both Adam and Karla

I enjoyed this one much more than Nobodys Angel. Its part 3 of the continuing Masters at Arms saga and this really is a saga. The story continues from one book to the next, theres a lot of story building in each one and they really wouldnt work as stand alones. This time, we have the story of Master Adam and his sub Karla who is 25 years his junior. He rescued her from a potentially dangerous situation in a bus station when she was just 16. Shes been in love with him ever since and theyve become

KA-THUNK 4.5 stars for me :)Master Adam did not disappoint, he was an 'idiot' at times but he finally pulled his head out of his ass! This book was definitely filled with lots of ups and downs, I was exhausted by time I finished reading it. I did find myself skimming again while reading this book, I guess I just didn't see the need to spend 2 or 3 pages describing ....... or re-reading something that had been mentioned once or twice already in the story. But overall another great story by Kally
