How did I end up so frustrated? It’s a question Katherine asks herself every day. First, a surprise inheritance tipped her life upside-down, and now her new RV park is a muddy mess of half-restored trailers. To make matters worse, she’s falling for her first crush all over again. The only thing she’s sure of at this point is a full-blown identity crisis. Alex came home after a life-threatening wound ended his Army career. Now Katie is back too, and she’s building something called a glamping park? He feels like he let her down years ago, can he make it up to her now? Or are his own problems too much to handle? Fate brought Katherine and Alex back to Smithville, and the town-folk want to see them together again. Will the couple be able to cope with the locals well-intentioned meddling, or did their second chance at romance disappear a long time ago...

Amazing storyA beautiful story written from someone who has knowledge about the knocks life can deliver and having faith in trusting someone to pull you out of the darkness.

Sometimes the best way to send a rainy weekend is with a good romance novel that stirs up emotions and really takes you on a journey. 'Hometown Girl Again' by Kirsten Fullmer is one such novel. The plot is contemporary with relatable narratives and characters that you will very quickly feel empathy for. The story is well written and I enjoyed how it switched between different points of view, as it made the novel flow really well. This is the first novel from the 'Hometown Series' I have read,

Good storyI liked the unique setting of the story. The trials faced by the characters were not new, but there isn't much that is new but the author developed the situations well.

While this is the fifth book in a series, I had no problem reading it as a stand-alone novel. Not a 'serious' read, this is a fun romance bringing together former lovebirds when they work on a common project.

Hometown Girl Again is the final book in the Hometown Girl series. Alex and Katie's story was emotional, heartwarming and shows a second chance at love is possible. I fell in love with Fish, Alex's companion/service dog, who failed his service dog training by the way.(lol) For me, Fish was instrumental in Alex and Katie getting back together. As always the people of Smithville were their meddling, busy body selves. Hate to see this series end, maybe the author will write a novella, updating us

Katie has the additional burden of an
