Commentary Concering Books Mind Games (Mind Games #1)

Luna is a no-hoper with a secret: in a world of illusion, she can see what is real. But can she see the truth before it is too late? Luna has always been able to exist in virtual and real worlds at the same time, a secret she is warned to keep. She hides her ability by being a Refuser: excluded by choice from the virtual spheres others inhabit. But when she is singled out for testing, she can’t hide any longer. The safest thing to do would be to fail, to go back to a dead-end life, no future. But Luna is starting to hope for something better, and hope is a dangerous thing...

Judge Regarding Books Mind Games (Mind Games #1)
I have always been a fan of Teri Terry and have met her on a couple of occasions and discovered she is also very nice to talk to. I heard she was coming to my local book store to do a talk and signing and as it was my Saturday off work I went. Sadly it wasn't very well attended but she still did her talk which was very interesting and discussed some of her books. I've only read the Slated series so far so was eager to know more. I had this book on loan from the library (actually had been there

5 starsI have heard many great things about this book and it has been on my want to read list for a while now and so I thought I should give it a try. When I was starting to read this book I never thought I would be so addicted to a book but when I started reading this book, I just could not put it down because it was so good and it got my attention by all means. I would definitely read this again and maybe more than one time even. I would recommend this book to anyone out there because it is a

I was given a copy of Mind Games in exchange for an honest review. Many thanks to Hachette and Netgalley.A copy of this review is also on my blog: www.bookblogbird.weebly.comMind Games is set in the near future and tells the story of Luna, one of the few people who are unable to access the virtual world offered by PareCo (Woop! Woop! Evil Corporation Alert!) that the rest of the population spend their education and leisure time in.Thinking that her future will be limited to the dead-end jobs

Initial thoughts:1. Luna was a great main character. Loved her!2. This virtual world was mesmerizing.3. I loved the world building, although it did frighten me a bit.4. The writing flowed and the story was fast-paced.5. I couldn't deal with the big reveal at the end. There were some scenes that were truly gruesome, but made total sense. It definitely gave this book more boom.Check out my full review on my blog!

The story takes place in a very interesting setting in the future. This future actually is not that unrealistic with this virtual reality and a manipulative superior organisation called PareCo. I think the author did a good job of creating the concept of this world. It was easy to imagine it inside my head. The main character, however, was a bit questionable. She is a so - called refuser because she has this secret that she has to keep hidden. Besides, she always gets sick from logging on to the
