Explanation Toward Books Glory in Death (In Death #2)

It is 2058, New York City. In a world where technology can reveal the darkest of secrets, there's only one place to hide a crime of passion-in the heart. Even in the mid-twenty-first century, during a time when genetic testing usually weeds out any violent hereditary traits before they can take over, murder still happens. The first victim is found lying on a sidewalk in the rain. The second is murdered in her own apartment building. Police Lieutenant Eve Dallas has no problem finding connections between the two crimes. Both victims were beautiful and highly successful women. Their glamorous lives and loves were the talk of the city. And their intimate relations with men of great power and wealth provide Eve with a long list of suspects -- including her own lover, Roarke.

Criticize Epithetical Books Glory in Death (In Death #2)
Honestly, the only thing I didn't love about this one? Was the entitled family all agog over a police officer doing her duty (though, I mean, it's right there in the sentence : entitled), and that the murderer went seriously unhinged at the end for the big confrontation. Otherwise, though? I really enjoyed this one. The romance is still speed of light fast but things were handled better in this one, communication was had, feelings considered, and.. I don't know. It's weird. I just liked it.

4+++ stars.🌟🌟🌟🌟This is an amazing and addictive series. Eve is rapidly becoming one of my all time favorite heroines. She has me enamored with her tough, take no prisoners attitude and I especially love all her snarky comments. She is strong and determined, with a fierce dedication to her job as a police Lieutenant . She isn't afraid to put her life on the line in her job but she still struggles to find that same balance in her personal life with Roarke. Roarke, however is much more confident in

The dead were her business. She lived with them, worked with them, studied them. She dreamed of them. And because that didnt seem to be enough, in some deep, secret chamber of her heart, she mourned for them. Glory in Death takes place a few months after the previous book. Murder never stops and Lieutenant Eve Dallas finds herself once again in a high-profile case when a well-known woman is murdered. And when another successful and famous woman is murdered, Eve works quickly to find

I have a good time with these books, mainly cause of the guy women adore and men wish they could be..... GALAHAD is totally my hero! Even Roarke obeys his whims and Eve melted in two seconds flat. He definitely needs more page time tho.

I know this is first and foremost a murder mystery series but I can't stop thinking about Roarke. Let me get those pesky details out of the way and then commence the gushing, mnkay? So the opening scene is once again Eve being called to the scene of a grisly murder. The chick's throat is slashed....blah blah....suspect must hate women...blah...Eve is super duper intuitive...blah, blah blah blah...lots of rich society people.....blah...reporters, policemen and detectives. There! Necessary info out

The murder of prominent DA Cicely Towers in the wet darkness of a cold night started Lieutenant Eve Dallas on a case involving high profile women and brutal murder. Her immediate appointment as primary by her commander kept the pressure on Eves assistance by fellow officer Feeney a boon. But there was another murder too soon and before they had any suspects. Could Eve crack this high profile case before more women were murdered? Was she in danger herself as another woman in the limelight?Glory

What can I say? This is pretty much a picture-perfect formula. A big dash of romance with a perfectly rich man, a murder mystery with a normal police procedural plot, and a tiny, tiny sprinkle of mild futuristic SF. There's so little SF, as a matter of fact, that I hesitate to even mention it. It's really just a regular formula. Mindless? Yes. Easy? Yes.Still fun, for all of that?Sure. I didn't want anything mind-blowing. It was okay.
