An absolutely beautiful and wispy read. With a lot of humorous ruckuses involving the dogs. This is a story of how two very recently wounded people came upon each other and became friends not by choice but because of their pet dogs. Oliver and Mackenzie's relationship turned from neighbours to friends to lovers was very realistic and believable. Their romance didn't happen as fast as the speed of light like in the other books, made it very pleasant to read. I didn't usually like readingThe Other Side of UsSarah MayberrySeries, ContemporaryHarlequin Super Romance #1824I know that many readers discount series books, thinking that they have very little to do with real life, with their princes and billionaires. Do not discount Sarah Mayberry and especially this book. Many books that I read have are filled with lust and longing, but have very little to do with love and caring but that is not the case with The Other Side of Us. Mackenzie Williams has been on long term disability for
Sweet, romantic and heartwarming. It starts with slamming doors, one promiscuous little dog and a hole riddled fence fence. This book was just one big feel good read. The characters are smart, articulate and carry some battle scars from the past that they are both trying to recover from. His are emotional hers are physical. They meet have good conversations, share comfort in each others company till something more starts to build. These adults act like adults and it is a very nice thing to read.

It's a wonderful story about two people finding each other when everything else in their lives went wrong.Oliver just found out his wife cheated on him...repeatedly...ever since they got married. Tough luck, I seriously felt for him. To find out that six years of your life had been one constant lie, it must be awful. So
***Detailed Review***THE OTHER SIDE OF US was a really good book about first impressions, healing, and finding love when you least expect itI really enjoyed how the story started off. Everything wasnt already in place. Instead we, the readers, find out alongside Oliver Barrett (Garrett? Back of book says Barrett, inside book says Garrett) as he discovered his wifes infidelity. Needing to get away, he travels to his deceased aunts house to fix it up. There, he meets his unruly neighbor Mackenzie
The Other Side of Us by Sarah Mayberry is about Oliver and Mackenzie, both of whom have been hurt and had the course of their life changed and are struggling to move past it. When the book begins, Oliver discovers that his wife of six years has been cheating on him their entire marriage and he didn't have a clue. He feels angry, betrayed and dismayed, so now in the middle of divorce proceedings, he takes a leave of absence from his work and moves next door to the heroine temporarily. The last
3 starsOliver Barrett and Mackenzie Williams want nothing to do with each other. They came to the town of Flinders to hide and recuperate. Mackenzie from an accident that scarred her and changer her life irreversibly, Oliver from the fact that his wife cheated from the time they returned from their honeymoon.
