Narrative Concering Books Lovers at Heart (The Bradens)

Handsome, wealthy resort owner Treat Braden is used to getting what he wants. When Max Armstrong walked into his life six months earlier, he saw right through the efficient and capable façade she wore like a shield, to the sweet, sensual woman who lay beneath. She sparked an unfamiliar desire in him for more than a one-night stand, leaving his heart reeling and his blood boiling. But one mistake caused her to turn away, and now, after six months of longing for the one woman he cannot have, he's going home to try to forget her all together.

Max Armstrong has a successful career, a comfortable lifestyle, and she's never needed a man to help her find her way--until Treat Braden caught her attention at a wedding in Nassau, causing a surge of emotions too reminiscent of the painful past she'd spent years trying to forget. Max will do anything to avoid reliving that pain--including forgoing her toe-curling, heart-pounding desire for Treat.

When a chance encounter turns into a night of intense passion, Treat realizes that the mistake he made six months earlier may cause him to lose Max completely. He will do everything within his power to win her heart forever--and Max is forced to face her hurtful past head on for the man she cannot help but love.

Article About Books Lovers at Heart (The Bradens)
I loved this book. I cried! It was just that good. There is so much good stuff in this book about love and relationships. It really hit home to me. I loved both Treat and Max. Though Treat is a bit of a hard name to accept. I struggled with a guy named Treat. I genuinely couldn't put the book down. Now I'm trying to figure out where I am in this Love in Bloom series.

3.5 "Open Your Heart to Second Chances" Stars for the story and 4.5 Stars for the narration.Lovers at Heart is a second chance romance with a strong women's fiction influence.  At the heart of this story (pun intended!) is the vulnerability of opening up one's heart to love after an initial rejection.  Much of this story is focused on an introspection of the fear of vulnerability that a person must necessarily experience to fall in love.   Although Lovers At Heart is the beginning of a new

AudioBook Review: Stars: Overall 4 Narration 4 Story 4 A story that best works after reading the Snow Sisters series, but can stand alone, Lovers at Heart focuses on Treat and Maxs stories, and the aftermath of a destination wedding. Max is the organizing guru with more than a dash of neuroses and ocd, and while helpful with her planning work, is often detrimental to her personal life. Shes clever, driven, outwardly self-confident and wholly in charge of her life. Treat owns several resorts, is

Let me begin by stating that although this states that it is Book #4 in the Snow Series, it can actually be read as a stand alone as the beginning of the Bradens novels. I love that you could have started with this one and then gone back and gotten some more back story on the Snow Sisters from the other three books, if you were dying to read this one. The Snow sisters are still involved in this novel, but the novel focuses mainly on the Bradens. The Bradens are Blakes cousins. They are a family

This is book 4 in the Love in Bloom series however its really sort of a spin off from that and is actually Book 1 of The Bradens. Its a little confusing however I like it because you still get some of the Snow sisters however now you get more of Blakes cousins the Bradens. A family of six, 5 boys and one girl or should I say 5 men and 1 women? Either way they are all very beautiful, really rich and very successful. In book 3 you met Treat, Blakes oldest cousin, Treat, Treat owns dozens of

***This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.***This was my first book from Melissa Foster, but it certainly wont be my last!I really enjoyed the small town feel this book had, especially the portion that took place in New England. The way they fit into their surroundings always says something to me about the characters, and I love that Treat new the locals so well, and that Max was quick to make friends.Treats family was a highlight in this book for me. I loved his

I had a hard time finishing this book to be honest. First of all, it says it's book 1 in the series. There has to be a prequel, or another series that led into this book, because I just felt like I missed a big part of their story (and there were hints of past stories for other characters, too). Treat was kind of unbelievable. Ok, most of the guys in romance novels are, lol, but he was just over-the-top sappy. I just had a hard time buying into his feelings (honestly I didn't connect with his
