Weigh Up Appertaining To Books The Leviathan Trilogy (Leviathan #1-3)
I liked the main character because through the whole book he was making the decisions and also was adapting to every type of situation. I can't relate to him because he was ambitios to what they where doing at that time. Also he was part of a royal family. The character seemed real because it was used from the real world. The main character was a mix from the royal family with the 3 kids personalitys and characteristics.

This is a review of The Leviathan. I think that this book would be good for anyone that enjoys a very suspenseful book. In this book There are two charecters that you see the view points of. It is set in another representation of the world tht would be set around the time between WWI and WWII. The two charecters are Prince Alek and Deryn Sharp. Alek is the son of the Monarch of Austria who is running from his granduncle the ruler of Germany that has mmurdered his family and started a world war.

Audiobook, narrated by Alan Cumming. This is perhaps the third time I've enjoyed this trilogy, but I had the privilege of sharing and enjoying it with my son this time around. It was the first time I'd heard it narrated, and Cumming did a truly marvelous job. I think he really contributed to our enjoyment of the story.I really enjoyed the steampunk WWI setting, with war machines and fabricated beasties rather than traditional modes of waging war.Darrin and Alec and the supporting cast were great

So I had to read a YA series for my Master's class and I choose Leviathan, Behemoth and Goliath because it was related to World War I.This is a sorta historical, sorta fantasy, sorta steampunk story about a girl named Deryn that dresses up as a boy to help the British side of World War I. She/ he meets Aleksander who is related to the Archduke Franz Ferdinand. So like the real World War I there are the two sides of the European conflict except in their version there are the Darwinists, who use

(Note: I need to buy Goliath to complete my set!)REALLY enjoyed these. Whole childish, I thought they were amazing mind experiments, what with made-up, clever animals and alternate history. This is a unique trilogy and I hope to find more like it.

The one drawback I will say about the series is the fake sailor talk. I understand why it was put it in. I know for a fact that in inner-city schools in my state if you said those type words you'd be in trouble. But they're not considered bad words in adult life or in general just unpolite. So for fake sailor talk in a young adult book it worked.

This is a very fine series of books.
