This book is the conclusion to the dramatic affair between Carlene Adams and Nick Johnson that we first met in book one in the series, Entangled Moments. Book one ended on a "bit" of a cliffhanger. Nick had just discovered that Carlene was in fact the woman that killed his long lost twin brother, Chris, robbing him of the chanceI am setting here wondering what to type, usually for me giving a review is easy. What happens when a woman is fortunate enough to have two great loves in her life and does not know they are brothers?To be fair, she does not fall in love with the second man until tragedy has taken her first love from her. I was so torn at the end of Entangled Moments that I had to buy this one to see what happened with Carlene and Nick. Learning about what happened with Chris broke my heart and the guilt and hurt that Carlene felt was flowing from the pages. This is an emotional ride but well worth it. Carlene has not heard from Nick in six months. After he left her, she tried to call a few time to explain what happened and she decided to stop so he would not accuse her of being a stalker.
