MeruPuri, Vol. 1 (MeruPuri #1)
On the way to school one morning, Airi loses her mirror - one that had been passed down to her through generations - and suddenly finds herself in a bizarre situation. Never in her wildest dreams did she expect Aram, a little boy from a magical kingdom, to have emerged from the mirror in the short time it took her to track it down!
I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!! such a cute story:) I actually finished the last manga, there were only...4 i believe??? yeah, i misplaced them, lol anyways, this was such an adorable manga:)
So, in terms of art this manga was quite good. I think the artist got better in Vampire Knight though. The plot wasn't too out of it either like some manga's are but I wouldn't say it's super interesting, just enough to keep me reading but not altogether satisfying me.
I really enjoyed this as the archetypal shojo manga--baby Aram is the cutest!
I haven't read manga in a REALLY long time. So it took me a minute to get back into the reading the book backwards. I wasn't sure where I wanted to start, there are sooo many great mangas, new and old, out there. I ended up reading MeruPuri because I had told my daughters (huge manga fans) that I need to find some to read for a challenge I signed up for. Next thing I know there's a pile of books next to my computer. They can be very helpful when they want to be. :)I have to say I really enjoyed
this is a very nice shoujo so far, I'm enjoying it even if sometimes it gets too... whimsical. the only real problem to me is that I couldn't find a better translation, so the scanlation that I'm reading this on is not the "best" per se.sometimes it gets kind of confusing, even.i think if i could find a better translation it'd be even better.
Super cute! Super cute!

Okay..... this book gives the impression that the author wrote in a character that the readers(mostly compromised of girls) could put be in the main girl character, airi. In her shoes, she has to cope with a kindergarten age- prince who chases her around but it's worth it; she gets to be wooed by a hot teenage guy when he gets into the dark.... Though the age changing pattern was more creative, I personally didn't find anything that special about this manga..... The humor was on average, andI LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!! such a cute story:) I actually finished the last manga, there were only...4 i believe??? yeah, i misplaced them, lol anyways, this was such an adorable manga:)
