Shards of Hope is book 14 in Nalini Singhs Psy/Changeling series, and finally we get Adens story, which I was eagerly waiting for.I fell totally in love with Aden. Hes one of the most complex characters in this incredible world that the author has created. His dedication towards the Arrow world was extraordinary and I was blown away by the way he dedicated himself to his people. My job is to make sure no one is left behind. Aden would never abandon any of his men or women in the dark. I must4 1/2 Stars!I loved this book but it was also a bittersweet read for me. REVIEW TO COME SOON! This book reminded me why the Psy-Changeling series is one of my absolute favorites. Nalini Singh accomplishes several things here. First and foremost, she creates a satisfying and emotional romance between the enigmatic Arrow leader Aden and his damaged fellow soldier Zaira. But she also sets up a fantastic new arc to carry the series forward, with a new mysterious villain; and she introduces a wealth of new characters who can create a fertile breeding ground for future stories. Really great addition to this series. I loved Aden but I really loved the heroine. We a glimpse of a lot of past characters too - and the plot moves forward well. Love that it was two Arrows put together, and love how protective the heroine is over the hero. Well done.
