Interpretation Supposing Books The Burning (Guardians of Ga'Hoole #6)

A great battle is on the horizon and drawing near. In preparation, Soren and his band must fly to the mysterious Northern Kingdoms to find allies and study the grim art of war.

Meanwhile, St. Aggie's has fallen to the Pure Ones. If they are not stopped, they will launch another, more deadly attack against the great tree. And without allies from the north, Ga'Hoole will surely fall. Soren's mission must succeed. And the final battle must be won. The coming conflagration will demand wisdom, bravery, and sacrifice from all the owls of the great tree, and from Soren and the band, nothing less the heroism.

This was the last book where the series was honestly objectively good. Also it is deeply unsettling listening to them nowadays as a person who exists in the political climate of 2018.

I loved this one. So many things happened. I enjoyed the travelling to the Northern Kingdoms. It was great.

This is a delightful series! I love the characters beginning with Soren. The story flows through each book as if the reader were living with the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. St. Aggies falls to the rule of the Pure Ones who are feared by owls who are not associated with them. The Guardians must rally whatever resources and support they can find as they find themselves once again at war with this ruthless group. Indeed, it's a good read and I plan to continue the series!

A thrilling end to a fascinating arc. This book took us from the very tip of the Northern Kingdoms to the depths of St. Aggie's. Everything came alive in this book, even characters we haven't heard from in a while. We get to see the brink of emotional collapse, the strength of conscience, and casual betrayal. And from it all, rose one glimpse of hope -- but for whom?

My favorite part was when the Pure Ones were defeated becasue Twilight killed Kludd. I was expecting something to happen like the GaHoole tree burning down because of the title, and the picture that is on the cover of the book, but it didn't. My least favorite part was when Gylfie got captured by the pirates before the owls returned to the Southern Kingdoms. Luckily, Twilla helped her to escape, and then Gylfie managed to get some owls from the Northern Kingdoms to fight with them, which

(view spoiler)[The irony of Twilight being the one to slaughter Kludd was fantastic. The readers are taunted by Soren's doubt he can kill him and in a flash, bam, he's dead, via Twilight slashing him from throat to tail. No taunt or anything. The fact the St. Aggie's birds are now with Soren's team is very backhanded. I hated it. (hide spoiler)]Downside is...the book was very... dry? I felt as if nothing was building up. I read the book in about 35 minutes due to the lack of sustenance. The book
